Saying goodbye to a beloved pet is one of the hardest decisions a family can make. When the time comes, I offer peaceful euthanasia in the comfort of your own home, where your pet feels safe and is surrounded by the people who love them.
The procedure is gentle, intentionally unhurried and carefully explained beforehand. There is no rushing, we move at your own pace and we often use sedation to ensure relaxation. Some pets- particularly those who are anxious, fearful or uncomfortable from handling- may benefit from oral medication given prior to the visit too. Please reach out beforehand if you feel your pet may need additional support, so we can plan appropriately.
Cat and small dog (1-10kg) From $400
Medium dog (11-25kg) From $440
Large Dog (25-40kg) From $480
Giant dogs (>40kg) From $520

Rechecks are available for pets who need follow up care and prescription renewals. They allow us to monitor how a condition is progressing and adjust treatment as necessary.
-
Talk to us if you’d like your pet’s recheck done via telemedicine. Some conditions need an in person visit, but telemedicine can work well for ongoing management or prescription updates.
*Not suitable for initial consultations unless discussed and agreed via the veterinarian.

Additional services are available at extra cost and will be fully explained during your consultation.
For example:
Blood tests, therapeutic injections, lab samples (ear, skin, lumps, urine etc) , blood pressure monitoring, microchipping.
**Please note; Some additional services may require pre-arrangement, such as those needing a nurse or specific medications. When booking your appointment, please let us know if you require services like blood tests, and we will organise them for you. If a test is needed during the consultation, we can arrange a follow up visit with a nurse at a convenient time.

FAQs
How do I book and appointment and what times can we book?
1
Contact us by telephone or text between 9am and 5pm, or email at any time, and we will attempt to find a time that works for you. We do offer some after work and weekend times however you may need to leave a message at these times and we will get back to you. We are not an emergency vet service or hospital.
What if my pet is very anxious even at home?
2
We understand that some pets are anxious around vets handling them even at home in a calm setting. If we are unable to continue the examination we can rearrange with the option of sedating, using a nurse to help or giving pre consultation oral medication. The goal is to ensure everyone stays safe and your pet doesn’t have a negative experience. If you believe your pet would benefit from oral medication or sedation before the appointment please discuss this when you book.
Do I have to pay on the day and do you offer payment plans or afterpay?
3
Yes, we do require eftpos payment or bank transfer on the day during the consultation. No, we do not offer any payment plans or afterpay.
Can I use my pet insurance?
Yes, we are a vet service so you can use your insurance. You will have to pay on the day and send the invoice and notes into your insurance to claim back. Check the small print of your policy incase it excludes home visits.
